This site explores the various kinds of work I do and some of my interests and joys. Most aspects of being a human on this planet simply amaze me. I take delight in my relative sameness with all beings that surround me - be they plant, animal or people. The ever present connection that I get to experience with all things I come into contact with continues to be of utmost importance to me. I've spent my life making art through drawing, painting and now via the computer with graphic design. I make art for many reasons, including assisting businesses, through graphic design and advertising, to better define themselves for their clients and customers. But creating visual communication goes much deeper than providing proof of a product's existence in order to drive sales. 300+ original paintings created over 11+ years. I took full advantage of everything my experiential and experimental mind could dish out. My hands and the paint brushes they held could barely keep up. I pushed past many mental and physical boundaries. I worked harder and had to comprehend more about the act of combining color, compostion and form than I ever had before or have since. These paintings built me up, saved my soul, and then without warning, tore me completely down. -- Learn more
After searching for answers around how I could feel more consistently happy about myself and my life, I eventually found that my attempts to be "only happy" created a bigger problem. After many years of studying the psychological and emotional work of other writers and speakers, I was compelled to investigate and write about how to come to terms with my entire spectrum of feelings - the good, the bad and the ugly, so to speak.
